A defined protocol.
Measured results.
Test. Restore. Re-test. Precision-matched FMT for licensed practitioners: a defined four-bottle Microbiome Restoration Protocol, guided by precision testing. Each patient’s baseline microbiome test is used to match them with a donor, using our proprietary matching process, and product is manufactured on demand for that named patient under a Health Canada Drug Establishment Licence.

The future of FMT is matched. It’s available now.
Screening makes a donor safe. Matching makes a donor a fit.
For most of its history, FMT has been one donor fits all. Novel Biome matches each patient to a screened donor using their own baseline microbiome sequencing.
Baseline
A baseline microbiome test describes your patient’s microbiome.
Match
Your patient is matched to a donor from our screened donor pool.
Converge
Follow-up sequencing shows how the microbiome shifted relative to the donor’s.
Donor matching is part of how product is selected for each patient. It is not a diagnosis and does not predict an individual result. Clinical decisions remain with the treating practitioner.
Two doors in.
Practitioners qualify for an account to see protocol materials, specifications and pricing. Patients and caregivers learn how microbiome restoration works and how to access it through a licensed practitioner.
Bring microbiome restoration into your practice.
- The four-bottle Microbiome Restoration Protocol
- Baseline and follow-up sequencing through CM Bio
- Donor matching from your patient’s baseline test
- Licence verification, then your account, plus an optional onboarding training call
- Webinars, office hours and patient handouts
Understand dysbiosis and your options.
- What dysbiosis and microbiome restoration mean
- How access works through a licensed practitioner
- Ordering with a code from your practitioner
One underlying imbalance. One defined approach.
Dysbiosis describes a disruption in the balance of the gut microbial community. Instead of separate approaches for each condition, Novel Biome is organized around a single, standardized Microbiome Restoration Protocol that practitioners can apply consistently and measure the same way every time.
Consistent by design
One protocol, the same steps for every case, with the donor matched to each patient. Simpler to implement in a busy practice and easier to explain to patients.
Measured, not assumed
Deep shotgun metagenomic sequencing at baseline and follow-up gives you an objective view of the microbiome before and after the course.
Comparable across clinics
Standardized steps produce standardized data, so cases can be documented and reviewed the same way across our practitioner network.
Test. Restore. Re-test.
Every Microbiome Restoration Protocol is bracketed by deep genome sequencing. The baseline result is also used to match your patient to a donor, so you start with data, match with data and finish with data.
Test
Your patient completes a CM Bio stool test using deep shotgun metagenomic sequencing. You receive the report before the protocol begins.
CM Bio sequencingMatch
Your patient’s baseline microbiome test is used to match them with a donor from our screened donor pool, using our proprietary matching process.
Precision-matchedRestore
After recommended pre-treatment, three months of the four-bottle Microbiome Restoration Protocol, manufactured on demand for your named patient from the matched donor and shipped cold chain with handling instructions.
4 bottlesRe-test
A follow-up CM Bio test one month after FMT ends shows how the microbiome has changed, documented alongside your own clinical assessment.
CM Bio sequencingHow every lot is made and released.
Donor selection, testing, quarantine and release follow written procedures under our Health Canada Drug Establishment Licence. Full parameters are provided to registered practitioners.
Donor assessment
Medical history, lifestyle and medication review against written exclusion criteria.
Laboratory screening
Stool screening first, then blood and urine panels, on a defined schedule.
Quarantine
Material is held until the applicable testing cycle is complete.
Release
Finished product is tested in-house and released against specification.

SOON
You will know who you are calling.
Partner support is not a ticket queue. The same small team handles onboarding, protocol questions and case discussions.

Jason Klop
A former naturopathic doctor working in FMT since 2018. Leads protocol design and case review for partner clinics.

Shaina Cahill, Ph.D. (Neuroscience)
Oversees donor screening, research and quality systems, and leads practitioner education, including webinars and conference talks.

Sarah Douglas, R.H.N.
Your first call. Sarah runs onboarding, account approval and ongoing support for every partner clinic.
Three steps to your account.
Register your clinic, get approved, then order. We recommend a short onboarding training call before your first patient.
Register
Tell us your role, licence and where you practise.
Get approved
We verify your licence, usually within 1 business day.
Order
Pricing, simple step-by-step protocol instructions, CM Bio test ordering, sub-accounts and education, in one place.
Onboarding training call
A short call with Sarah on the protocol, sequencing, donor matching, ordering and patient handouts. Optional, and strongly encouraged before your first patient.
Not ready to register? Talk a case or the protocol through with our team first.
